They are defensive units, so only use them as such, and put them in hoplite wall. They get buffs to defense which from my experience also helps with projectiles. WebIn order for Carthage to feel powerful, you have to play them like they operated historically: mainly using mercenaries for armies. Carthage's strength was in making money. If you build your cities around that concept, the rest will fall into place.
