The pericentriolar material
Webb23 juli 2015 · To control centrosome function and the interactions between centrioles and pericentriolar material, ATF5 forms a 9-foci symmetrical ring scaffold around the mother centriole. ATF5 regulates centrosome dynamics in a cell-cycle- and centriole-age-dependent manner, independent of its role as a transcription factor. Webb1 aug. 2013 · We have recently reported that a ~19‐kDa polypeptide, rPK‐4, is a protein kinase Cs inhibitor that is 89% homologous to the 1171–1323 amino acid region of the 228‐kDa human pericentriolar material‐1 (PCM‐1) protein (Chakravarthy et al. 2012).

WebbDespite decades of molecular analysis of the centrosome, an important microtubule-organizing center (MTOC) of animal cells, the molecular basis of microtubule organization remains obscure.A major challenge is the sheer complexity of the interplay of the hundreds of proteins that constitute the centrosome. Webb25 sep. 2015 · Dispersal of the pericentriolar material (PCM) was accompanied. This phenomenon was independent of the separase activity but needed the PLK1 activity. Nocodazole effectively inhibited centriole scattering in STLC-treated cells, possibly by …
